As we move into the new season, all members are reminded that CPR Proficiency Assessments will take place at Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Club each Tuesday Night in November 2025.

Start time: 7:00 pm sharp

Finish: before 8:30 pm

Location: Helensburgh Stanwell Park SLSC

Please note the following important updates:

• Online component: All members must complete the online CPR proficiency module via their SLSA Members Portal / Online Learning before attending a practical session.
• Assessment changes: Due to new requirements, CPR proficiency can no longer be completed during patrols. It must now be done as a stand-alone session.
• Assessment dates: Our first round of sessions will be held on Tuesday 4 Nov, 11 Nov, and 18 Nov. We’ll review numbers and decide if extra sessions are needed later in the month.

Your attendance ensures you remain patrol-ready and compliant for the 2025 season. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start promptly at 7 pm.
