A great result today with a huge contribution from the Helensburgh, Stanwell Tops and Stanwell Park Communities.

The local community donated $4959.50 to Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Life Saving Club. This money goes directly to the surf club and is used to purchase vital life saving equipment to help keep Stanwell Park Beach safe.

47 club members hit the streets covering a nearly every street in Helensburgh, Stanwell Tops and Stanwell Park. Thanks very much to these club members for giving up their time over the past couple of days.

So what does nearly $5000 buy a surf club?

• 1 Surf Rescue Board
• 10 Patrol Whistles
• 5 Resuce Tubes
• 1 UHF Radio
• 1 Automatic Defibrillator

This will make a big difference to the quality of surf life saving services offered on Stanwell Park Beach.
