Surf Life Saving Race Day - Randwick

Surf Life Saving is excited to announce a partnership with Segenhoe Stud to stage a Surf Life Saving Race Day at Randwick on Saturday 22 November. Fundraising activities and events will be run throughout the day to assist Surf Life Saving continue to save lives on our beaches this summer. If you'd like free entry to the event, we're looking for volunteers to assist with fundraising activities for a short time during the morning, after which you are able to enjoy a great day of racing at your leisure. New Digital Radio Offer

To assist clubs with the state radio network digital upgrade, Surf Life Saving NSW have successfully secured a deal for all NSW Surf Clubs and Branches.

The new Hytera PD662G, Digital Radio priced at $1017.00rrp has been dramatically discounted for all NSW Surf Clubs and will be available for $695.00* when purchased through Karera Communications. The radios will be engraved ‘Surf Life Saving’ and will also be programmed by Karera at no extra cost. This radio has been selected by Surf Life Saving NSW because of its ability to operate on the current analogue network and be switched over to the digital network as branches make the change.

*This deal will be effective immediately, with radio stock becoming available mid-November.

2014-15 Quality Club Program

For the 2014-15 season a thorough review of the SLSNSW Quality Club Program has been conducted to encourage clubs to become involved and look to strive for accreditation in each of the levels.

The program opens at the start of a season and closes at the completion of a season. Each level remains current for one season. At that time re-accreditation is required.
