Various SLSA awards are available for members who have completed a minimum 5 years service, and also long service awards after 25 years service.

To initiate an application for the following awards, please log in to your SLSA Members Portal account, go to the FORMS tab, and then click on Add Submission. Select the award you are eligible for, complete details, and submit.
- Training, Assessing and Facilitating Service Certificates
- National Patrol Service Certificate
- Long Service Award – minimum of 25 years service after gaining their Bronze Medallion, or for Associate members, 25 years service after the age of 15 years
A National Medal is available for members who have completed a minimum of 15 years of patrol service, with at least 30 hours completed each season; patrols prior to 1986 are not eligible.
All applications require approval at an Executive Committee meeting prior to submission to SLSA. Awards will be presented at the Club’s Presentation Night.
