WINTER SWIMMING WITH THE SEA EELS

Coalcliff Pool | Sundays 9am | Starting 04 May

Who can swim?
Anyone who can swim 50 metres unassisted is welcome; kids, teens, adults and everyone in between. We’re a friendly, family club open to all ages and abilities.

What are the swims like?
Each Sunday morning we swim 50m, 100m (optional) and relays. All swims are handicapped, so whether you're in it to win it or just enjoy the splash, there's a spot for you.

Is it just about swimming?
Not at all. After the swim, we head back to the Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Club for homemade soup, a few drinks if you like, and plenty of social time. It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning.

Why do we swim?
Along with the fun and fitness, we raise funds for the CRAM Foundation, supporting people with disabilities. We’ve been proudly backing CRAM since 1999, building real connections with residents and donating equipment each year. We also support other local causes through raffles, fines and Joker Poker.

  • Championships at Bondi, the South Coast, and the Aussies (this year in Maroochydore)
  • Last year, we took home GOLD in the 10-Person Nominated Times Relay at the Aussies.
