THE COURSE

Negotiate the surf at Coalcliff Beach turn left and head north along the escrapment leaving the Seacliff Bridge and Coalcliff behind you, swim over some shallow reefs, breathe to your left and catch the view, breathe to your right and its just open ocean, looking straight ahead you will see Bald Hill in the distance, at Stanwell Park turn left just out the front of Stanwell Park Club, crack a wave and head back to the beach.

WATER SAFETY

Water Safety is provided by Helensburgh-Stanwell Park SLSC and Coalcliff SLSC, with the support of Surf Life Saving NSW and Surf Life Saving Illawarra.

There will be 6 Inflatable Rescue Boats (IRB's), 2 RWC's, approx. 20 life savers on Rescue Boards following the swimmers along the course, and multiple life savers in the break and on the shore at Stanwell Park to support the swimmers at the end of the swim.

The club will also be providing UAV (Drone) Surveillance throughout the swim, including a number of sweeps along the course prior to the swim checking for unwanted sea life.
