Things To Know
- Supervision & Safety - parents must stay on the beach for the duration of Nippers
- Attendance - to be eligible for a 1st , 2nd or 3rd place trophy all U8 to U14 must have at least 75%* attendance
- Wetsuits - can be worn on at proficiency swims, Education/Skills weeks and during Board Training, but not during Point Score weeks. Swim goggles can be worn at any time.
- Board Training - Optional board training sessions will be scheduled for U9 to U14 Nippers with times TBC. Updatescwill be posted on the Stack Team app
- Iron Person - swim, board, run - (optional for U9 to U14) are on Point Score weeks starting at 8.30am, arrive 8.15am
- Carnival Participation
- events are marked blue on the program.
- U9 to U14 competitors must complete the pool proficiency swim and open water swim prior to competing. U8 only need to complete the pool swim to compete at Carnivals.
- Water safety volunteers are required for children to compete at carnivals. If your child wants to compete, adults must consider completing SRC or Bronze Medallion to be able to provide water safety cover.
