Start time is 2pm at the Surf Club.All members of the club, their family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate our U8-U14 NIPPERS 2024/25 Season.

No NIPPER will go home empty handed.

Want to help out the NIPPERS next year? There is a LOT of vacant roles next season. We’d love to have you on board, have a think about putting your hand up to help out at the committee election at the beginning of presentation day.

Surf Life Saving NSW is seeking nominations for the 2024/2025 Junior Lifesaver of the Year Program and Award.

The Junior Lifesaver of the Year Award is a way for Clubs and Branches to recognise their U14 members’ achievements in Surf Life Saving; the contributions they have made to all levels of Surf Life Saving as well as within the community.

The Junior Lifesaver of the Year Program aims to focus on recognising and rewarding the young members who have been selected as Branch Finalists. The program for this age group focuses on self-leadership, socialisation, teamwork, surf lifesaving and self-awareness. Participants will be involved in physical challenges, presentations and discussions, activities and scenarios that require leadership, teamwork and communication.

All U14 members who believe they could be the next Junior Lifesaver of the Year should apply through their Club and/or Branch. The male and female Branch winners will then progress to the SLSNSW development camp and interview process to determine the State winners.

Its the annual Christmas Hamper Raffle! It is a fantastic fundraiser for the NIPPERS and a great way to wrap up the year, with the big draw taking place on the last NIPPERS day.

We kindly ask each NIPPERS family to donate one item per child for the hampers and to sell 10 raffle tickets per family, at $2.50 each (total of $25).
U6 – Lollies
U7 – Chips
U8 – Chocolates
U9 – Sweet Biscuits (ie Tim Tams)
U10 – Bon Bons
U11 – Christmas Treats
U12 – Poppers Juice or Zooper Doopers
U13 – Savoury Crackers
U14 – Drinks, Wine, Champagne, etc

Three simple ways to pay for your raffle tickets:
- Drop your envelope with completed raffle tickets and cash at the canteen.
- Pay online via the QR code. Please remember to return your completed raffle tickets with the payment receipt inside the envelope to the canteen.
- Pay at the canteen (cash or card) and leave your raffle tickets with the receipt in the envelope.

Don’t forget to write a name and phone number on each ticket.

Please drop your hamper donations off by the Surf Club door by Sunday 08 DEC.

The raffle draw will be held after NIPPERS on Sunday 15 DEC.

Santa Photo Day will be held on - Sunday 01 December 2024 between 11am and 5pm.

Registration for the 2024 Sydney Water Surf Series is now open!

The series is made up of 4 rounds of carnivals. All nippers aged U8 and older are welcome to register. 

$80 entry for all 4 rounds. (No single carnival option this year)

• Round 1: Saturday 19 October @ Bulli SLSC
• Round 2: Saturday 2 November @ Warilla-Barrack Point SLSC
• Round 3: Sunday 3 November @ Warilla-Barrack Point SLSC
• Round 4: Saturday 16 November @ Wollongong City SLSC

Enter and pay thru the HSPSLSC Surf Sports Entry Portal.

Entry closes Midday Monday 14 October, entrants must be proficient in the pool and the ocean by this date to enter. This means children must attend the pool proficiency on Thursday 26 September and an ocean proficiency on Saturday 21st September at 8am - 9am at Stanwell Park.
