Hi Nippers families,

Welcome to the 2023-24 Nippers season! 

We are delighted to be able to get back to the beach soon with our first nippers session scheduled for Sunday 22 October 2023.

Registration - due by 10 October

To register a nipper at least one adult must also be registered as a member with the club with a paid $55 membership of their own - e.g. as an associate or active member.

Please ensure you are registered and paid by 10 October 2023.

You and your children will need to be registered and paid before commencing any nippers activities - including completing the proficiency swim (dates below).

If you have a child joining nippers for the first time, please also forward a copy of your child's birth certificate or passport to jnr_registrar@stanwellparksurfclub.com

Fees and payments

Nippers fees are $55 per child or discounted as part of a family membership package*.

Membership fees can be paid via Visa or Mastercard online as part of the registration process.

Active Kids Vouchers

You can use NSW Active Kids $50 vouchers to pay your child's fee.

Please have your voucher number ready before commencing your registration process.

You will need to enter the following:

• Voucher barcode: code on the voucher you get from NSW government (no spaces)
• Voucher pin: your child's date of birth (DDMM)

If this online process gets all too hard or you are unsure, there is also the option to process the membership online, but only pay the adult membership fee. Then please email your active kids voucher to jnr_treasurer@stanwellparksurfclub.com for manual redemption.

Key dates to note:

Thursday 12 October - proficiency swim test - Helensburgh pool 4 -5:30pm

Saturday 14 October - proficiency swim test - Helensburgh pool 9 -11am

Sunday 15 October - Board and transition day at Bundeena for Under 9s and over. Ocean swim proficiency testing for Sydney Water Carnival entrants.

Sunday 22 October - first nippers session of the season and uniform sales in the clubhouse

Sydney Water Carnival

Round 1 – Saturday 21 October 2023 at Warilla

Round 2 – Saturday 4 November 2023 at Kiama Downs

Round 3 – Saturday 18 November 2023 (under 8s to under 13s) and Sunday 19 November 2023 (under 14s to Masters) at Bulli

Round 4 – Saturday 25 November 2023 at Wollongong City

Please note that proficiency ocean swims must be completed prior to participation in the Sydney Water Carnival series. 

 

Uniforms

Club stretchy caps and hi-vis vests will be available from the club on the first day of nippers. Please remember that the club caps and hi-vis vests are compulsory items for all nippers beach and water activities. They can be worn over regular swimwear.
