- The Finemasters are always right
- No one can fine a Finemaster except another Finemaster (this does not include those finemasters standing back in the crowd)
- Anyone late will be fined. (Late will be determined by the finemasters their watch will be set to AEST i.e. an estimate.
- Anyone not swimming will be fined.
- Insulting a Finemaster will result in a fine.
- Bringing the good name of the Sea Eels into disrepute will incur a fine.
- Using the magic word (COLD) will result in a fine.
- Breaking your time will result in a fine.
- Not observing these rules will also be finable offence.
- Any other offence the Finemasters can think of will result in a fine.
- Any swimmer nominating their swim as a JOKER ROUND will also incurr double (2x) the value of their fines.
