1. Ten years' membership of the Stanwell Park Sea Eels Winter Swimming Club
2. Eight years’ distinguished and/or exceptional service to the Club
3. Nominations, seconded by another club member, are to be received in writing by the secretary before the Annual or Special General Meeting
4. Nominations must be supported by a three-quarter majority of attendees at the AGM or SGM to be successful
5. Voting will be by secret ballot with the ballots being destroyed after the vote
6. For the first year there will be no limit on the numbers of new Life Memberships provided they meet the stated criteria for nomination 
7. After the first year’s nominations Life Membership will be offered at the rate of one new Life Member per winter swimming season 
8. Life members may attend and speak at meetings and may vote on any issue providing they did attend the previous meeting
9. Life members will not be required to pay membership fees
10. Life members will be issued with a Life Membership badge
