The Sea Eels conducted their annual championship at Coalcliff Rock Pool on 30 August 2015. Not optimal conditions for swim with large swells frequently impacting the pool.
Despite the adverse conditions, the participants managed to complete all the scheduled events.
The Slippery Eels was between the 6 club members gaining 100% Attendance, Jacinta Deacon (U/14), Dawn Marshall (Open), Peter Mcdonald (Open), Karl Weber (Open), Ian Van Zyl (Open) and Anne Woodward (Open). With event being run and re-run and the winner being Ian Van Zyl.
Club Member of the Year was awarded to Gary Marshall for his ongoing commitment to the club. He is always on-hand with the stopwatches, happy to serve behind the bar on a weekly basis and despite not being able to swim for most of the season due to injury was at just about every swim this season. Congratulations Gary.
