Following the weekly Sunday WINTER swims, the @stanwellparkseaeels head back to the Helensburgh Stanwell Park Surf Club for delicious soups made by their members and drinks if desired and plenty of socialising. Perfect way to spend your Sunday morning.

Back at the Surf Club is where they raise funds for charity by means of fines, raffles, and Joker Poker. The Sea Eels main charity is CRAM Foundation who provide a caring service to disabled adults and children, they have been supporting @thecramfoundation since 1999 and made many friendships with the residents. Each year they make a substantial donation to purchase much needed equipment. Other donations are made to worthy local causes.

The Sea Eels enjoy inter-club visits with Bulli Sea Lions and have the ladies from the Bondi Icebergs visit, they compete at the Invitational Champs at Bondi, the South Coast and the Australian Championships.

One of their favourite days is the annual BRING A FRIEND day that includes a visit from the Gunnamatta Greys. Members BRING A FRIEND - they just need to be able to swim 50 metres unaided but they also don't mind if they don't swim and just want to come spend the day with you...
After the swim they head to Scarborough-Wombarra Bowling Club for soup, beverages and perhaps some Barefoot Bowls.
