A great day in the pool today for the Sea Eels at the South Coast Winter Swimming Championships.
The weather was well and truly the opposite to what was forecast for the day, and were blessed with full sunshine, clear blue skies and relatively warm water.
The day started with instant success, President Peter McDonald and Vice-captain Gary Marshall winning the President - Captain Nominated Time Handicap Relay with a time difference of 0.02 seconds....great work.
From there on the club had finalists in every age group that was entered, including a triffecta in the O/30 with James Quinn, Murray Copas and Karl Weber.
