Surf Life Saving NSW is running a Country to City Life Saver Exchange. If your are currently aged 18 - 30 and a Patrol Captain or looking to become a Patrol Captain, this is for you.

This program will be hosted in Sydney Branch from Friday 24 January 2014 to Monday 27 January 2014.

This program is open to members in all Branches excluding Sydney Northern Beaches and Sydney.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Actively patrol major Sydney metropolitan beaches such as Bondi, Coogee and Maroubra
  • Patrol on the Offshore Rescue Boat (Surf Rescue 30)
  • Tour the Southern Region Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Base
  • Visit the headquarters and State Operations Centre of Surf Life Saving New South Wales

Travel and accommodation will be provided at no cost to delegates.

New Zealand Exchange Program

Participants from the above two exchange programs will be given the opportunity to apply for two positions on a lifesaving exchange to Auckland (NZ), to participate in an Intermediate Lifesaving School in March 2014.

Travel and accommodation will be provided at no cost to delegates.
