  • The project intends to make the Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Club accessible to all users. The building needs to be updated to make it suitable for members and guests with mobility issues, aligning the building with contemporary standards, enabling a broader cross-section of users to access all levels of the building, including amenities.
  • Further changes will be made to improve the overall functionality and appearance of the building, such as upgrades to the kitchen, bar, patrol room, toilets, access to the floor space above the lifeguard shed, and new terraced areas that will enable club members and the public to enjoy the surf club to a greater extent.
