The club competed in the Surf Life Saving Illawarra Branch Championship on Sunday 12 February 2017 at Wollongong Beach. In the juniors the club picked up 6 Gold, 4 Silver and 8 Bronze Medals.

The club was also represented in the final of the Junior Life Saver of the Year by Jack Bridges, Lachlan McDonald and Max Walker. Although unsuccessful they proved that the club is producing excellent young lifesavers with the club filling 3 of the final 6 positions in the competition.
The Seniors competed following the Junior Branch Championships and came away with medals for Boat Rowing. The U/23 Female Crew finished 2nd in their division and U/19 Male Crew finished 3rd.
