A host of new sponsors and donors have jumped into the Boat Section this season, their support will be funding a new set of carbon fibre oars and a new sweep oar.

The Boaties have been performing well this season with a 2nd U/23 Female and 3rd U/19 Male at the Surf Life Saving Illawarra Branch Championships and a semi-final row at the ASRL for the U/19 Female, and 2nd U/23 Female, 3rd U/19 Female and 8th Overall in the Warilla Bowls Surf Boat Series.
