Emergency services personnel are a part of the Phase 1B vaccine rollout, meaning vaccines are available for all frontline patrolling members (Bronze/SRC). SLSNSW is a gazetted emergency service and is eligible under this phase.
Although not mandatory to patrol, vaccination should be considered in light of the current cases of COVID-19 in the community, and to assist with maintaining operational capability across the coming patrolling season, both on the beach and within Support Operations.
