Major Fund Raising Event for the Helensburgh-Stanwell Park SLSC Boaties

Well spring is in the air, the weather is starting to heat up, and so is the beginning of the surf season.

On Saturday 19th October 2019, the Boaties will be holding a Comedy night fundraiser at the Helensburgh Tradies.

The function is organised by a company called "Comedy for a cause", that as the name suggests, runs comedy nights as fundraisers for schools,sporting clubs, foundations etc. All the comedians performing have been involved in the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals, so I'm sure there will be plenty of laughs.

The doors will open at 7pm for an 8pm start and it is an over 18's night. The poster with all the information about ticketing is below ( tickets to be bought online only), so get some friends together and come along for a great night while helping support our Boaties.

Get behind this event, it will be a great night of comedy and raise some funds for the club's boat crews as they prepare for their competition season.

The club has an U/19 Crew and there are rumors that a masters crew has been doing some secret training in the off season.
