Kevin and Leisa Thomson have taken on the role as Bar Managers at The Surf Club, after previous Bar Manager Michael Dent decieded to take a break and spend time with the family.

Kevin and Leisa along with their 4 boys Lochleigh, Callum, Braighden and Kenzie joined the club last season after doing a few of years at Scarbourgh-Wombarra and Cronulla, now living in Stanwell Park it made sense to move the family to a new club.

Both Kevin and Leisa are full of enthusiasm for their new role in the club, so much so that last weekend Kevin got off his flight from Scotland and headed straight to the surf club to man the bar with Leisa.

The club is gratful to Kevin and Leisa for sticking their hand up to take on the role, and thankful to Mick Dent for his service over the past seasons.

The Surf Club Bar is open on Sunday mornings after Nippers, and the 3rd Friday of the Month for Friday Night Drinks from 6:00 pm. Please drop in and say hi to Kevin and Leisa "The Barefoot Barmaid"*.

* Not really barefoot, she does wear shoes to comply with OH&S rules.
