The 2013/2014 Patrol Members Dinner was held on Saturday, 24 May 2014. A small but enthusiastic band of Patrol Members and partners attended the function.
Matt Webber was awarded Patrol Member of the Year. Club Captain Aaron Abela said that Matt was a key member of his patrol and that he looked to Matt for assistance while on patrol, and saw that Matt mentored a number of the younger patrol members. Congratulation Matt.
New Surf Rescue Certificate members, Chloe Gale and Jayden Curkoski were awarded with the High Achievers Award for their enthusiastic start to their life saving career. Chloe and Jayden attended all of their rostered patrols since gaining their SRC and actively participated in their patrols. Well done Chloe and Jayden.
Patrol of the Year was a close result this season, with Patrol 3 (Captain Ed White) winning on a countback from Patrol 5 (Captain Steven McDonald), and in 3rd place Patrol 7 (Captain Viv Moxham-hall). Patrol Competition organiser, auditor, and cheif judge Mark Thompson complimented all the patrols on their outstanding contribution to life saving and patrolling in the past season.
Congratulations to all of the patrol members who had 100% Patrol Attendance
