The 2014/2015 Annual General Meeting was held at Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Life Saving Club on Sunday, 13 July 2014.
A smaller than usual group of club members attended the event, including a number of Life Members and long term members.
Steven McDonald was re-elected as Club President, Ed White as Club Secretary, and Bobo White as Chief Training Officer. Stephanie McGuinness has stepped up to be the Club Vice-President. There are a number of key positions to be confirmed including Club Captain, Assistant Secretary, Registrar and Team Manager.
One of the most important roles in the club still needs to be filled, this being Club Treasurer. It is crucial that we have someone step forward to take on this role. The club is in a strong financial position with a good income stream. This role is important as it ensure that the club has a good understanding of it's financial position and can make investments in the club's life saving strength and it's competive team.
Thankyou to all members who attended the meeting, and those that took on a position in the club.
Club Executive and Management Committee
Secretary Ed White presented the 107th Annual Report, the report contains stories from the season, a full set of results, the club financial results and an update on the clubs strategies put in place of the past 2 seasons. Good job Ed.
Membership is now open to all members with an Early Bird Fee available until the end of September.
Also thankyou to those people who worked behind the scenes leading up to the Annual General Meeting, Kerry & Bobo White for preparing the lunch and Sandra & Peter McDonald for cleaning and setting up the club house.
Looking forward to another great season.
