Lifesaving Exchange ProgramCongratulations to the surf lifesavers who have been chosen to be part of the Surf Life Saving NSW Lifesaving Exchange Program this weekend. Subsidised Intensive Training Officer coursesThanks to a grant provided by the Emergency Volunteer Support Scheme (EVSS), Surf Life Saving NSW will be working with Branch Facilitators to host three two-day Intensive Training Officer courses in March-April 2016. These courses will be an ideal opportunity for members with little-to-no training or education experience to gain some highly transferable skills and take their first steps into the Training Officer role within their Club. Spaces are limited, so book your place soon! Register your interest before 31st January 2016. Summer of Surf Round 6Freshwater will host the sixth round of the Summer of Surf this Sunday with Newport SLSC currently on top of the overall clubs point score while Manly LSC and Redhead SLSC are coming sixth and eighth respectively. Meanwhile, in the ironperson Georgia Miller (Newport SLSC) is on top and Hayden Allum (Wanda SLSC) is placed second. Good luck to all competitors!
