The survey is open to all competitors, participants and members and will provide valuable feedback for the running of future competitions. SLSCs with liquor licences no longer need to provide Biennial returnsIf your SLSC has a liquor licence, as a licensee you are no longer required to submit a biennial return, relating to your liquor licences. This means that you are no longer required to complete the return that would have next been due before 31 March 2016. For more information on changes to Liquor Licence red tape reforms click here. Limited spaces still available for subsidised intensive Training Officer coursesThere are still limited spaces available on the Training Officer Courses being run at Bomaderry and Port Macquarie. New Shark Listening Station Buoys Deployed along NSWThe Department of Primary Industries has deployed eight new customised ‘listening station buoys’ which are around 3.5 metres long and fitted with 3.5 metre long steel sub-frames. The buoys have been deployed at a depth of 10 to 12 metres at the following locations:
Vessel operators are advised to exercise caution when navigating near the buoys which are marked by a yellow flashing light with a range of two nautical miles and a flash rate of one second on, four seconds off.
