Just to the add to the multi-cultural feel of Stanwell Park Beach, 6 members from the Otake SLSC in Japan will be on patrol with Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Life Saving Club members this Sunday.

The Otake members gained their Bronze Medallion on 4 March 2016 at BMD Northcliffe SLSC on the Gold Coast. (Pictured below)

Member Klaus Liss has spent time in Japan and patrolled at Otake, and generated some connections with the club.

If you would like to join the patrol or just come down and meet the club members from Otake, please do so. They will be on patrol most of Sunday.
