Members,

The Club Constitution was last revised in 1991, with some minor amendments in 1997 and 2009. As a result of changes to Government legislation for incorporated associations in 2016, our Constitution and By-Laws needs to be revised to bring it in to line with these changes.

Ralph Hall and Harley Dreghorn have finalised a revised Constitution based on a model template issued by Surf Life Saving NSW for surf clubs, with some modifications necessary to comply with current legislation and to take into account our own local requirements.

The updated Constitution and By-Laws are now on the Club website for your review and comment. We invite you to ask questions at this time, or raise matters of concern, so that these can be addressed prior to the new Constitution being submitted for adoption at the Annual General Meeting on 23 July 2017.

The deadline for receipt of comments is Monday 22 May.
