A unique opportunity exists for architects and designers to participate in the transformation of the internal spaces of Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Club building.

Constructed in the early 1980s, the building is vested in Wollongong City Council and occupied by the Helensburgh-Stanwell Park SLSC as its functional clubhouse. The building also serves as a social meeting point for Club members and the local community as well as a function centre.

The aim of the transformation is to enhance the look, feel and functionality of the 1st floor hall and facilities with the primary focus being to improve acoustics in this area.

Further works are proposed in the future that will involve access to an outdoor area at the western end of the hall, and disabled access to the 1st floor level.

If this is of interest to you or your company, Expressions of Interest close on 15 December 2017. Please download the attached Request for Proposal for details on the project.
