Westfund Health Insurance is pleased to announce a partnership with Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Life Saving Club.
Established in 1908, Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) is one of the oldest surf lifesaving clubs in Australia.
Club members have been serving the local area for 110 years, providing the community with a safe, patrolled beach environment, high quality training and competition and the development of future lifesavers through the running of the Junior Activities Committee (Nippers).
The partnership will see Westfund make a significant financial contribution to the club for the purchase of a modern surf boat.
“We’re proud to be supporting such a worthy group,” said Westfund Regional Manager Lence Naumovski.
“There is no sight more iconic on Australian beaches than the yellow and red surf lifesaving cap. “These volunteers give freely of their time to ensure that we can all enjoy clean, safe beaches.”
“Like Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Life Saving Club, Westfund has a long history of community ties and it is within this shared commitment to communities that we are pleased to contribute to the future of the Club through the purchase of a new surf boat.”
“I look forward to celebrating the continued success of Helensburgh-Stanwell Park SLSC at a competition level,” she said.
Westfund Health Insurance is a regional, not-for-profit health fund with locations across NSW and Queensland. Helping Australians look after their health since 1953, Westfund is a wholly Australian-owned and operated fund.
