Along with the Fundraiser, the club is taking donations of school supplies to support a number of schools on the South Coast who have been affected by the fires. This program is in conjunction with Woonona East Public School and Tradies Helensburgh.

We are looking all kinds of school supplies - pens, pencils, rulers, glue, exercise books, erasers, highlighters, scissors, stationary supplies and children's books (new or good condition).

If you have school aged children and are donating exercise books or children's book we encourage you to have your child write a short message of support for the recipient. The school children recieving these items will have been through some very tough times and would be nice to open a new book up and see some kind words.

The schools being assisted include Tanja, Cobargo, Quaama, Towamba, Candelo, Wolumla, Bemboka and Wyndham.

You can drop off any school supplies to the surf club at the Friday Night Drinks Fundraiser, Saturday between 11am and 3pm, Sunday between 9am and 6pm (whenever patrols are on), we may even open up during the week. There will be boxes in the clubhouse. The window for donations closes on 26 January 2020.
