"This message is intended for the lifesavers at Stanwell Park/Beach on Christmas day! I can not express enough, my gratitude for their timely response. I was unexpectedly caught in a rip while taking a quick swim on Christmas day. My friends signaled the team on the beach for help. Their response time was unreal...absolutely perfect! I honestly thought I only had another minute before I was going to finally go under and then the jet ski arrived, took me close to the beach where I got to the beach, only to go out again to save a friend of mine caught in the same rip.

After getting to the beach, one of the female lifeguards stood by me to make sure I caught my breath and was going to be alright.

If I could please ask for your help in forwarding this message to the staff working at Stanwell Beach on Christmas around 1-1:30pm. I have to apologise, given the ordeal, I didn't catch any names.

I just want them to know, that I say THANK YOU!!! If you weren't there to respond, I truly don't think I would be here writing this message. I realise it hardly covers my feelings or your efforts, but MY heartfelt gratitude to all of you!!!"
