Emergency Callout Team Search & Rescue Training Event is being held on Saturday, 17 October 2020 from 7:30 am to test the club's Emergency Callout Team Capabilities.
The event will be based on an aquatic rescue off Stanwell Park Beach, and will involve all rescue assets available to the club.
Patients and Support IRB Crew meet at the Surf Club from 7:00am
IRB Drivers and Crews, and support team meet at Loaf Kitchen from 7:20am
Emergency Callout Events require members beyond just IRB Driver and Crew, there needs to be a strong support team back on the beach to co-ordinate with Emergency Services and Life Saving Support Operations.
Members required include,
- Patients
- IRB Driver and Crew for the support boat
- 3 x IRB Driver and Crews for the Search and Rescue teams
- On-beach Communication
- On-beach Resuscitation and First Aid
- Support crews to assist in patient transfer from IRB's to Beach
- On-beach support crews to co-ordinate with Emergency Service and Life Saving Support Operations
- UAV Operator
Also, if possible photographer(s) to capture images from the event.
What to bring,
- Wetsuits for those going in the water
- Patrol Uniforms or Club Clothing
- Towels
- Water
