Surf Club Open Day is on Sunday, 18 October 2016. Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Club has a good program in place to demonstrate the clubs capabilities and educate the public about the surf.

9:30 am - Dr Rips (Dr. Rob Brander) will be giving a short presentation a Rips and Surf Awareness, followed by a practical demonstration with a dye release in the surf to show the action of a rip
10:00 am - Nippers, the club's lifesavers in training will be in action. They will be doing swimming and board races in the surf, and beach sprints and flags on the beach.
10:15 am - IRB, Rescue Board and Rescue Tube demonstrations near the Red and Yellow Flags

The club house will be open for inspection as well as the boat shed, with a sausage sizzle and cool beverages availble in the club from 11:00am onwards.

Everyone is welcome to come down and meet club members and find out what life saving is all about.
