Unsung and unpaid honorary community treasurers will be acknowledged in the annual 2012 Westpac Community Treasurers’ Awards. The awards are designed to unearth three community treasurers who ensure good financial management, good financial governance and good financial outcomes for their organisations. The Westpac Community Treasurers' Awards were launched in 2009 to show appreciation of the immense contribution community treasurers make to their community groups, the community sector. The winner in each category (small, medium and large) will win $5,000 for their organisation as well as $5,000 worth of tools and training. So if your treasurer deserves honour and recognition, then nominate them for the 2012 Westpac Community Treasurers’ Awards.
