SLSA Circular: Leaders Masterclass 2013

Applications are now open for the 2013 SLSA Leaders’ Masterclass (previously SLSA Leaders Conference). The 2013 SLSA Leaders’ Masterclass will take place at the Australian Emergency Management Institute (AEMI), Mt Macedon Victoria from Friday 24th May until Monday 27th May.

SLSNSW is advising of Dangerous Surf Conditions between the Queensland border and Newcastle over the next few days, due to Tropical Cyclone Sandra (moving South, offshore of the NSW coast).

NRMA Community Grants Program

The NRMA Insurance Community Grants Program is now open. The program provides funding in four categories, of which the Emergency Readiness and Response category is most suitable for applications from SLSNSW Clubs.

Surf Athletes Sun Safe at State Champs

The Melanoma Institute of Australia and Surf Life Saving NSW partnered up at the 2013 Allphones NSW Open Surf Life Saving Championships to promote the importance of skin awareness and protection from the sun.

2014 State Championship Dates Announced

The program for next year’s NSW Surf Life Saving Championships were announced at the official ceremony and March Past at Ocean Beach-Umina.
