Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Life Saving Club would like to welcome new sponsor Webber's Carpet Warehouse.

Webber’s Carpet Warehouse is a small family owned and operated business that has been running now for 40 years. Originally started up by Grahame Webber in 1969, Webber’s Carpets has grown to be one of Sydney’s oldest and most trusted floorcovering retailers with 3 generations of Webber’s now in the Business. Webber’s Carpets would easily have one of Australia’s Largest and well set out showrooms, offering a wide selection of flooring available.

Saltwater is in the families blood and has been since Grahame took the kids (Michelle, Mark and Mathew) to Nippers at North Cronulla from an early age. Grahame was in the March Past Team at North Cronulla, so it was only natural that is 3 kids join nippers as well. So, form there they have always loved being at the beach.

Mat Webber (the youngest of the Webber children) joined Helensburgh-Stanwell Park SLSC 10 + years ago, initially to help out as water safety for his own kids. Since joining he has gained his Bronze Medallion, IRB Crew, IRB Driver, Basic Beach Management, Advance Resuscitation and UAV Pilot. Having his IRB Driver and Crew drove his involvement with the IRB’s and more recently the “Sea Wolves” racing team. Knowing and learning that this sport cannot run without the support and sponsorship from the local community and with the families history of the Surf Life Saving being an integral part of growing up, Webber’s Carpets have come on board to help promote what is a solid, proactive, inspiring and talented group of people. It’s not only the competition side that benefits, it’s the upskilling of all members who aspire to become involved with the IRB’s, which ultimately makes our beaches a safer place to visit.
