The Executive Committee at its meeting on 13 November 2023 fully endorsed and adopted the Child Safe Commitment template developed by Surf Life Saving Australia as a statement by the
Club as to how it will manage and promote child safe practices.

The Child Safe Commitment Statement is displayed on the Surf Club Notice Board, and can also be viewed on the Club website, by clicking on the Child Safe Tab.

The Child Safe Guidelines have been developed to assist all Surf Life Saving clubs and members to meet their obligations, specifically relating to children and young people, under the Surf Life Saving Australia Child Safe Policy.

READ GUIDELINE

Child Safe Awareness Course provides participants with: an awareness of child abuse and child protection and the confidence to be able to take appropriate action when they become concerned for the safety of a child. To have this course recognised on your Surfguard record please complete the course via the Members Area.
